Calumet County Foot Care Clinic is scheduled for July 16 at 1:00-3:30pm. The cost is $35 cash or check. You will need to bring two towels with you. Please See Mary Dietz to sign upand pay beforehand.
Mail Call!! Families or POA’s who receive mail for residents should periodically stop by the front counter and check to see if we are holding mail.
Family Picnic Saturday, July 19!
The Caring Hands annual family picnic will be held on Saturday, July 19 starting at noon.
There will be a feast including brats and burgers, German potato salad, 7 layer salad, cheese and sausage tray, veggie tray, deviled eggs, fresh fruit salad, jello salad, and a soft-serve ice cream machine complete with chocolate and caramel syrups, nuts, Oreos, M&M’s, jimmies, and more! Please add your name to the sign up form at the front desk so we know who is coming. Families are also free to sign up to bring various items to share. We hope you will join us and celebrate the year with us!

IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR RESIDENTS and FAMILIES
If you are going out of the facility, please make sure that you sign out the sheet near the front door and let a Caregiver or Mary Dietz know so that we can ensure you have any needed medication for the time you will be away. This is also important in case of an emergency in the building and we need to determine if everyone is counted for safety reasons.
Share A Meal
If you would like to share a meal with your loved one, we’d LOVE to have you. To ensure we have set up a place and a meal for your party, please do the following:
Call or stop by the facility and speak to a someone in person to let us know the date and for which meal you would like to share. We ask that you do not leave a message on the Caring Hands voicemail since during our busy times, we may not get it in time. There is a $5.00 per person charge for each guest.
If you have any special restrictions, we will do everything possible to accommodate special dietary needs.
HOT SUMMER WEATHER!!
Now that the weather is heating up and you are sitting outside, please be extra careful not to stay in the direct sun too long. Heat stroke, dehydration, and other serious conditions can occur. If you are outside, we suggest you use sunscreen and keep water handy. If you need water or are feeling weak, please push your pendant so we can come assist you.
