The Year is Halfway Over!
Can you believe it?? It’s July! We are halfway through the year! Only a few months until the “Brrrrr Months” – September, October, November and December……….but let’s not get ahead of ourselves! I hope you all are enjoying the warmth of summer and longer days. Our residents are spending more time on the patio or out front enjoying all of it as well. The garden plants are growing and it looks like we will have lots of fresh veggies to eat soon!
Please remember to let us know if you have guests joining us for any of the meals, especially larger groups, so we can adjust our meal preparation. If possible, at least a couple days ahead of time. We certainly enjoy the spontaneous guests as well! The cost is $5.00 per meal.
Our Family Picnic is coming up too! Saturday, July 18, 2026, at noon! Once again, we will have a sign-up sheet at the front desk, so please let us know how many will be joining us for a fantastic picnic meal. If you would like to bring a dish to pass, please feel free to add that to the sign-up as well, but it is certainly not required. We can’t wait to celebrate 10 years of Caring Hands with all of you and your families!

Monthly Reminders
While we try to provide a nice variety of meals, we understand that residents have allergies and dislikes. Please review the weekly menu and if there is something you cannot or would prefer not to eat, please let us know at least an hour in advance of the meal so we can provide you an alternate meal option.
Calumet County Foot Care Clinic is scheduled for July 15 at 1:30-3:30pm. The cost is $40 cash or check. You will need to bring two towels with you. Please See Jennifer or Mary Dietz to sign up and pay beforehand.
